Current Covid Protocols for return to 2021 BFNL Season
The Lake Wendouree Football Netball Club is thrilled that we are about to embark on Season 2021 after such a challenging 12 months or more.
We are also committed to keeping our players, supporters, volunteers & families safe.
As we are not out of the woods yet with Covid 19 until the majority of us are vaccinated we encourage all those connected with our Club, players, volunteers, supporters & families to take the time to know the current protocols in place.
As we know, these protocols & restrictions change on a regular basis & we will keep this page up to date for you as things change.
For those that will be attending games, there are some important information you need to know which are in the document below - BFNL Return to Play Protocols.
We have summarised a few important points for you below:
1. Do not attend or participate in a game of football or netball if you are unwell - stay home & get tested.
2. Everyone entering CE Brown Reserve & the Holloway/Knight Pavillion must scan in using the Check in code on your mobile phone or sign in manually
3.Practice socially distance at all times & keep 1.5 metres apart
4. Practice good hygiene at all times & wash/sanitize your hands whenever possible
4. Parents or supporters are not to enter any of the changerooms before/after/during any game unless you are on the volunteer roster to clean.
5. Follow all safety signs in relation to socially distancing
6. In the event of a positive case being discovered as a close contact to the LWFNC the Club will notify close contacts via mobile using the check in app.
Lets hope that we are over the worse of Covid 19 & that all restrictions can be eased prior to the end of the Season, but we need to be prepared.
Stay Safe & stop the spread.
